The beginning. Working in oil-based ink and acrylic on paper and canvas, exploring biblical imagery, early abstraction, and the raw energy of a practice finding its footing. 2021 established the symbolic language — the mark, the figure, the text — that would define everything that followed.

65 WORKS

A year of formal experimentation. The work grew larger and more deliberate. The first sustained series work emerged. Color became more confrontational, composition more architectural. The practice began to feel like a system.

The ancient world entered the work. Aztec, Roman, Egyptian, Byzantine — civilizations pressed through the filter of contemporary Houston. The scale of history became subject matter. Works grew more dense, more layered, more insistent.

The most prolific year. Named series proliferated — Pressed Hues, Existentialism, Bacteriophage, Kaktos. The work diversified across media and subject. The cosmic and the sacred converged. Over 200 works documented in a single year.

Consolidation and depth. THETABET emerged as a sustained series. Kitchen Confidential, the Overhead Metro works, A Sense of Ancient Wisdom. The practice matured without losing urgency. The marks became more confident, the silences more deliberate.

The present. Cardboard, canvas, paper — the surfaces multiplied. The work became more direct. The Secret Surface of Jupiter. Formation of the Celestials. The divine and the cosmic remain inseparable.
